Boaz Daniel


Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Boaz Daniel studied there at the Rubin Music Academy and in Vienna at the Music Conservatory. In 1999 he was awarded the Eberhard Waechter Prize by the Austrian Bundestheater for outstanding stage performances in Austria. It was in 1998 that he made his début at the Vienna State Opera as Schaunard in Puccini’s La Bohème and, among other rôles, he has undertaken that of Masetto at the same opera house, and at the Vienna Volksoper that of Don Giovanni. His career has also brought appearances in Bregenz and in Israel.
